En 2018 en compagnie de David Zemba à la batterie, Sina Kienou à la guitare, Amos Paré à la basse et Guilhem Gandrille à la technique, Zabda crée son propre groupe dénommé Moogho Band Orchestra.
Zabda est un héritier des traditions orales qu’il transmet et enseigne à l’occasion de ses ateliers artistiques et de ses concerts.
